Wild Sauna

We have wild sauna and swim sessions throughout the year, ran by Kerry from Hehku Wild Wellbeing. They run mostly every other weekend, but for the most up to date calendar, visit the Hehku Instagram page here.

Hehku Wild Wellbeing uses a pop-up wood fired sauna tent, to be able to bring an authentic finnish sauna experience in to the heart of the forest, by being totally accessible and portable. This means we can get close to nature and be completely off-grid. Perfect for Barefoot and Bower.

Private hire

If you are camping at Barefoot and Bower, Kerry also runs private hire of the sauna, so please get in touch via her website or Instagram page for more details.

The sauna can be set up on your camping pitch, or if you have hired out the whole site, in a location of your choice on the Upper Lake. We recommend the spot right next to the steps and changing area!

Collaborative events

If you are running any retreat or wellness type of events at Barefoot and Bower, then please do also get in touch with Kerry if you would love to include some wild contrast therapy experiences to your day or weekend.
